The english tour was very touristic, with much information that you can find on the internet also and not that much about the breweries and their beers. But then again: it is all Kölsch so a bit 'langweilig'.Just find yourself a Brauhaus to sit down and check the atmosphere and habits for yourself.

The processing in advance was super uncomplicated with the Kölsch crew. Booking online, payment via PayPal, confirmation via email, even appointment reminders: everything is great! The tour with guide Hanna was very entertaining, relaxed and still informative. Hanna asked us again and again and responded directly to our wishes. Overall I can only recommend it.

We had a great time in our tour in the Brauhauses. Our guide, Kim, was very funny. We visited interesting places on the go, and she explained many stories about the city. The group was amazing and we had fun. It's a must do tour!

We were a small group of 4 people. Our guide Susa led us through the breweries with lots of funny stories. We learned a lot about the Kölsch. All in all it was a nice, fun and educational evening.

A lovely tour sampling a variety of Kölsch breweries. Rebecca is a bright and knowledgeable guide with plenty of stories to tell you around every corner of old Köln! Don't forget to bring an umbrella just in case!

Was alone in Cologne and joined a tour. This consisted essentially of two groups of people who had booked together. My fear that you would "not fit in" was unfounded, I had talked to everyone at the end of the evening and had a lot of fun. That was also due to guide Christian, who managed the tour with confidence and humor and involved everyone.In the end I had a great evening with lots of information about the city, the beer and the breweries that have it. Would book again anytime.

We booked the Cologne Kölsch (brewery) tour through Get Your Guide and it was a fantastic experience! Our tour guide, Bernie, was a wealth of knowledge about the breweries and the history of Cologne in the places we went. He took us to 4 breweries, all of which were pretty close to each other (~5 minutes of walking to each) with stops along the way to talk about certain historical monuments, people, etc. Each brewery had different tasting Kölsch so you could try different recipes and each also had its own (sometimes VERY 🤣) unique atmosphere and flair. After the tour was over, Bernie walked us to a famous jazz bar, for those that wanted to go, with an incredible live band! Overall a top-notch experience - 100% would recommend! I did this one with a friend but plan on doing it again with my husband and any visitors we might have in the future.

Had a fantastic afternoon - got a great welcome in each bar - met some fun people and drank some great beer. Mel knew her stuff and provided everything we needed to know with enthusiasm and pride. Much respect to Cologne and it's beer. Mel is a great ambassador for your City. Highly recommended!!

From the moment we met, her warm and inviting demeanor made us feel like we were in for something special — and we were right. Hanna wasn't just a guide; she was an educator, a storyteller, and quickly became a friend. Her passion for Cologne and its breweries was infectious, and her depth of knowledge was simply unparalleled. But what truly stood out was how personable she was, effortlessly connecting with us, ensuring our tour was more than just sightseeing — it was an unforgettable experience.Beyond sharing details about the breweries, she had a wealth of knowledge about Cologne's history that she seamlessly integrated into our tour. We especially appreciated the flexibility to trade one brewery stop for a "walking beer" — a unique way to enjoy the city's sights. It was evident Hanna had a great relationship with the brewery staff, making our stops feel personal and welcoming. The booking process was smooth and for the experience we got, the price was more than reasonable. I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cologne, but more importantly, if you can, ask for Hanna — she'll make it unforgettable.

Jade was incredible! She was fun, energetic, and knew so much about the history of the city and Kölsch beer. It was a great experience. Had a lot of fun, definitely recommend this tour before going to any Brauhaus on your own.

Had two friends over from the US and a beer tour was a requested part of the Germany experience - we made the right choice.Susa mixed history and information about cologne with great locations, stories and a interesting conversations. We were in a group tour with a wonderful couple from the UK and all of us sincerely enjoyed ourselves throughout the entire tour. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about cologne in a fun tour … with Kölsch 😉

We had a great time with our tour guide Max. He was very informative and funny. The places chosen to visit were top notch - as was the beer! We learned it a lot but it was also a very relaxing and fun tour to do. A great way to spend a couple of hours in Cologne.

Fabulous tour with a very generous and knowledgeable tour guide! We went as a couple not sure if it would be awkward but had the best time learning about Cologne, drinking great beer, and getting to know the other people on the tour. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cologne :D

My friend and I, two middle aged women, joined a mixed group, some in their 20's, some a little older for the brewhouse tour. I think it's safe to say, this is a popular tour which means it attracts a good crowd. Not every brew house can accommodate a large'ish group (some can) but they make the best of it for us. We get served promptly outside, it's a very efficient setup and the guides are known or recognised in every brewhouse they stop at, it's great fun. You pay a couple of euro's for each drink you have (all Kolsch, tasting different in different bars).This is the thing though. The guides. If you are lucky enough to get Felix, he is smashing! He is so knowledgeable and interesting. He appears interested in his subject matter, even though he must roll those lines out a couple of evenings a week. He is resourceful, diplomatic, helpful, considerate (has an eye on everyone, including drunken would be intruders) and very funny (dry humour)! The guide brought us together as a group, with his tales and 'funnies'. It turned out to be the most fun thing we did while in Cologne. I highly recommend this tour, thanks Felix. And actually, I highly recommend Cologne. I loved it...Have fun!

We had an absolutely delightful experience with Michael, our traveling buddies, and our new tour friends. Michael shared historical information as well as significant, relevant details about Cologne's culture. He was knowledgeable and fun in his presentation. We visited 4 fabulous sites and enjoyed plenty of kölsch. The laughter and love was obviously contagious as Russ, another guide, joined our group after the official tour was complete. Undeniably memorable.

What a wonderful way to spend an evening in Cologne! Michael took us on an outstanding tour of four venues to enjoy four different Kölsch. In addition to his top notch knowledge of the history of Cologne, and a few fun facts here and there, he shows you the ropes of ordering, drinking, and toasting in this special city. It was just two of us on the tour, so Michael was able to take a little more time at each venue than if it were a large group. This tour is well worth the price and Michael is a top notch tour guide! An absolute must for anyone visiting Cologne. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
